All-Inclusive Pricing
We offer gold-standard care with sensible pricing and no ‘add-ons’. So you know where you stand and what to budget for. Items such as IV fluids and blood tests are included for every patient. This vastly reduces the chances of anaesthetic complications or a dreaded hangover. We include human-grade pain relief and lots of it, because kindness is non-negotiable for us.
Standard inclusions:
- Pre-anaesthetic blood & urine tests
- Blood clotting assessment for at-risk breeds
- IV fluids to increase safety & reduce nausea
- Gold-standard anaesthetic, surgery and disposables
- Advanced monitoring to maximise safety (including ECG, capnography, temperature, pulse-oximetry and blood pressure)
- All medications and bandaging
- All post-op visits
- Comfortable, soft e-collars (cones) because who loves the plastic ones? No-one.
Health Insurance
We strongly encourage pet health insurance, which covers illness and injury. Pre-existing conditions are not covered by insurance policies, so it is important to obtain insurance before illness occurs. Insurance removes the financial burden from decision-making when your pet is ill or injured. Sadly, there is no Medicare for animals. If your pet is bitten by a snake, ruptures a cruciate ligament or develops skin allergies, cost can quickly build up. Please consider finding a policy.
Not all pet insurance is created equal. We’re not insurance advisors, but here are some important details to check:
- What excess will I pay?
- What percentage of the bill is covered?
- Are there any exclusions for my pet?
- What total benefit can be claimed?
- Is there a cap on the number of consultations covered?
- Is dental covered? Some policies will cover dental illness/injury if routine dental prevention is adhered to.
- Is behavioural treatment covered?
Ensure to get ‘lifetime cover.’
We regretfully are unable to offer in-house credit. If you do find yourself without insurance and need help managing vet care, we offer these flexible payment options.
